- Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities within assigned territories.
- Network, follow up on marketing-qualified leads, request referrals, and conduct cold calls/drop-bys to generate new sales opportunities.
- Utilize a variety of prospecting techniques to navigate gatekeepers and set appointments.
- Create and implement lead generation campaigns and participate in networking events.
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs and recommend the best solutions to address those needs.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and solution presentations tailored to client requirements.
- Achieve monthly sales quotas by closing new business and conducting smooth hand-offs of new projects to the technical team.
- Collaborate with technical engineers to identify the best solution options for clients.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system and consistently adhere to our sales process.
- Minimum of 3 years of outside solution sales experience, with responsibility from prospecting through to closing.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales quotas and objectives.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
- Experience managing sales opportunities using a CRM system.
- Professional attitude, appearance, and a commitment to honesty and responsibility.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Strong prospecting skills, including cold calling, networking, email, and social prospecting.
- Ability to identify client needs, handle objections, and close deals effectively.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Professional presentation skills and a consultative approach to sales.
- Experience selling IT managed services within a small business environment.
- Knowledge of IT systems and processes.
- Background in technical service or operations support.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
- Entrepreneurial experience or business ownership background.
- Bachelor’s degree.
