- Provide technical support for incoming service desk requests via phone, web portal, and email, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
- Set up and provision systems for new hires, including hardware and software installation.
- Prioritize and manage incidents and service requests in alignment with defined SLAs and company processes.
- Utilize remote tools and diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve IT support issues efficiently.
- Perform hands-on technical support for hardware repairs, peripheral installations, and other on-site fixes when remote solutions are not viable.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and security protocols.
- Administer servers and IT systems using Active Directory, File & Print services, DNS, and DHCP, while performing network and server solution design as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals while ensuring compliance with company safety and security standards.
- College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience.
- Experience with desktop and server operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, Server 2012, Server 2016, and Mac OS.
- Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
- Active Directory knowledge and experience.
- Sales Engineering experience is a plus, as well as, UTM firewalls, Kaseya RMM and Autotask PSA.
- Microsoft Server, Microsoft Desktop os, CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certificates preferred.
- Valid Driver License and ability to drive to customer locations when required.
