Contract Details: This is a contract-based role supporting a healthcare facility on site every Monday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, adjusted as needed for holiday weeks. On-site work is paid at $40 per hour. Additional hours may be available by client request.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support for healthcare facility users, including workstation assistance, peripheral troubleshooting, printer and scanner support, Microsoft 365 support, basic connectivity issues, password and access assistance, and escalation of issues that require additional TeamLogic IT resources.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on client systems, including updates, backups, and system monitoring to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Incident Management: Accurately document requests, issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the TeamLogic IT ticketing system. Escalate unresolved or higher-impact issues to the appropriate internal resource and communicate status clearly to the client and service team.
- Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on incident status and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain clear notes on client systems, observed issues, completed work, follow-up needs, and recurring problems so the TeamLogic IT team can support the healthcare facility consistently between on-site visits.
- Security Support: Follow TeamLogic IT security practices, help users with basic security-related issues, report suspicious activity or risky conditions, and escalate security concerns to the appropriate internal resource.
- Hardware and Software Installation: Assist with the installation and configuration of hardware and software for new and existing clients, ensuring compatibility and functionality within their IT environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.
Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:
- Education: A degree, diploma, certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior IT support experience is preferred, especially in a managed services, healthcare, professional services, or multi-user office environment.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, basic networking, printers, scanners, common business applications, and user account troubleshooting.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Customer Service: A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and building strong client relationships.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and able to commit to the recurring Monday on-site schedule, with flexibility for holiday-week adjustments and occasional additional hours by client request.
- Experience with Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools: Familiarity with RMM tools like NinjaRMM or similar platforms.
- Experience with Ticketing Systems: Knowledge of ticketing systems such as Autotask PSA, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar.
- Documentation Tools: Proficiency in using documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Hudu, Ninja Documentation, IT Glue, SharePoint).
- Experience with Cloud Services: Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality IT support to SMB clients.
