Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical support for complex server, network, and software issues escalated from Level 1 or 2 Technicians.
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, high-performance network solutions tailored to client needs.
- Perform system administration, including maintenance, upgrades, backups, and compliance with industry standards.
- Foster strong client relationships through professional, responsive support and strategic technology recommendations.
- Lead IT projects, such as AI agents, system migrations and network deployments, coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
- Maintain detailed documentation of client environments and mentor junior technicians.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity regulations through regular audits and best practices.
- Provide on-call emergency support, including evenings and weekends, to ensure minimal client downtime.
Qualifications:
- Required: 5+ years of IT support experience, including 1+ years in a Level 3 role.
- Required: 2+ years of MSP (Managed Service Provider) experience.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree (graduated) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Required: CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft Azure Administrator (or CCNA); CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 or Windows Server Certifications.
- Required: Advanced expertise in Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Required: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Highly Preferred: Proficiency with RMM tools (e.g., NinjaRMM), ticketing systems (e.g., Autotask PSA), and documentation platforms (e.g., IT Glue).
- Exceptional problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
- On-site/In-Person Role based in Pearland, Texas.
- Occasional travel (valid driver’s license required) to client’s office(s), in the company vehicle.
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings/weekends for client emergencies.
